How can I get response body as bytes array

When using core.messages(), I get responses in Unicode. I have suspicion that this convert corrupt response body data

Is there a way to get the response as byte array?

I am asking cause i have an issue that response body returned with a lot \ufffd and it seems corrupted. So i think maybe something is wrong when ZAP read response

Have you tried accessing the messages by the har methods, eg messageHar(id) or messagesHar(baseurl, start, count) ?

Thanks for your reply, I tried it and get same result. the \ufffd still there.
