Hello, I have been trying for a week now to configure the zap proxy with firefox and chrome. Neither is working. I keep getting this message:

Software is Preventing Firefox From Safely Connecting to This Site

www.youtube.com is most likely a safe site, but a secure connection could not be established. This issue is caused by Zed Attack Proxy Root CA, which is either software on your computer or your network.

Just so you know, I have saved the certificate from ZAP to my computer, and I have imported it to Firefox in the "view certificates" tab. I have also manually configured the proxy in Firefox to 127.0.0.1:8080 (as in ZAP). I have also disabled both antivirus and Firewall on my computer in case it was generating a problem. Please I really need someone's help because I have a project and I need to fix this. Thank you so much!!

The easiest option it to just launch your browsers from ZAP.
They will be configured to ignore certificate issues and should "just work".
You can do that via the Quick Start / Manual Explore screen: https://www.zaproxy.org/docs/desktop/addons/quick-start/#manual-explore
If you still want to configure your own browsers for whatever reason then see https://www.zaproxy.org/docs/desktop/start/proxies/

Cheers,

Simon
