Hello, I've just joined this group. This is my first post.
I just install Kali and was able to play with HUD with no issue.
After the update,  then clicking on the browser icon up above the menu bar of zap, nothing happens.  I've configured manually the proxy on my browser.  I tried bringing up the HUD,  still, nothing happens.  Is this a known bug?

Thanks,
Casey.

Hi Casey,

Which browser(s) are you using and what version is it?
Are there any errors in the zap.log file?

Cheers,

Simon

Simon,
firefox.  I don't think it is the browser issue,  because it worked after I downloaded the Kali vm Image.   Only after I updated the Zap contents through zap update that the HUD stop working.
Firefox version 68.10.

so I click on the context and select launch browser and it seems that IP for loopback is set incorrectly '127.0.1.1'   I double check my setting in my browser,  it is set to '127.0.0.1'.  where the setting on 'IP: 127.0.1.1" coming from when I right-click on one of the URLs and select the launch browser?

Hello, Simon.
Thanks for the reference to check the log.  This is what I have in the error log and from the looks of it,  it appears that an incorrectly setting for loopback IP address?

Hi.

That seems to be:
https://github.com/zaproxy/zaproxy/issues/6115

There's a workaround.

Best regards.
