I love HUD but, Fails to load when I restart a session or restore session

I know that HUD is no longer under active development. I love it though, and when I gain enough knowledge hope to keep it alive. The problem at the moment is using it consistently. It does work when I start zap, but won't work if I switch it off and turn it on back again or even when I restore a session.

Is there a life hack to keep it rolling, would help a lot

What goes wrong?

Sometimes most of the side buttons fail to appear for me, but when I launch a new browser they come back (sometimes it takes a few goes).

HUD works well when I start a new ZAP session, and fresh browser .
However toggling it off then back on , nothing will reflect in the HUD history and the HUD buttons won't work. This also happens when I restore a previously saved sessions.

Thanks for the tip on restarting the browser a few times. I'll try that and see.
