Hello Everyone;

Concerning the Plug-n-Hack standard; in the officiel zap's site tehy say that Firefox support the standard by making it easy to use zap's fonctionnality  from the browser (without switching between zap and the browser as the standard aims to allow), the probleme is that i'm not able to make this integration true, which means that i'm still switching between Firefox and ZAP to intercept my requests, ( also the commands : help zap and help png don't work in Firefox's the line command ) is it not implemented yet, or im i messing something ?
NB: i have Firefox 25.0 and i 'made the required configuration to make Firefox use zao as a proxy.

Regard;

This functionality has been implemented - I demo it on the "ZAP Innovations"s video: http://code.google.com/p/zaproxy/wiki/VideosOther

When you say " i 'made the required configuration to make Firefox use zao as a proxy" what exactly did you do?

It sounds like you havnt got the Firefox Plug-n-Hack add-on installed.

The easiest way to to this is to click on the ZAP 'Plug-n-Hack' button, then follow the instructions, accepting the prompts.

Let me know how you get on.

Cheers,

Simon

First, Thank tou for the quick reply ;

Concerning the configuration in Firefox, it's : options -> Advanced -> Network -> Setting  -> i ticked  Manualy proxy configuration' box  and  gave HTTP Proxy: 127.0.0.1 and Port: 8080 as parameters.
And as far as  the Plug-n-hack add-on is concerned,  i'm not finding it when i try getting new adds-on for my browser (tools->add-on) so i supposed that it's already integrated.

Now, i will watch the video you proposed and discover what i'm messing.

Thanks again for the help;

Regards

I thought you might have done that :)

But you didnt actually need to - Plug-n-Hack does all that for you, in addition to installing the Firefox add-on.

Just click on the ZAP Plug-n-Hack button, or paste the URL underneath it into Firefox :)

Cheers,

Simon

Just click on the ZAP Plug-n-Hack button, or paste the URL underneath it into Firefox. Then step through accepting the dialogs.

The Firefox add-on is included with ZAP and will be installed if you follow the above instructions.

Ah - are you not on the latest version?

The latest version of ZAP includes the Plug-n-Hack add-on by default :)

Good to know you've got it working anyway.
