Hi,

Does ZAP support .java files.

I am trying to test out the Active Scan Rules - Alpha on ZAP with my target and see if it is working.

All the active scan rule addons are in .java format. ZAP won't let me add .java files, even if I navigate to my machine directory on ZAP, where the .java files for the addons are located.

If ZAP does not support .java, is there any other way to upload the code files of the Active Scan Rules - Alpha on ZAP?

A reply would be highly appreciated.

Hi.

That's not supported yet: https://github.com/zaproxy/zaproxy/issues/1516

For now Java scan rules need to be compiled and bundled in a ZAP add-on.

There's an example (Java) add-on in:
https://github.com/zaproxy/addon-java

Best regards.
