Postdoctoral Fellowships Available at UCT

Dear colleagues, 

The University of Cape Town has an open call for postdoctoral fellowships in 2026. Please take a look at the attached call for applications. While applications close on the 15th of September, prospective applicants must put together an application beforehand so they can get their application supported by a UCT staff member. We encourage applicants to express their interest to the UCT philosophy department as soon as possible.

UCT Philosophy would be happy to support prospective philosophy postdocs working in areas of specialisation similar to those available in the department. We also welcome prospective postdocs who would be interested in enabling the department to expand its expertise in African Philosophy. It is important for applicants to contact a UCT Philosophy staff member with whom they would be interested in working, as their support is a crucial step in the application process.
