Call for Participation: Centre for African Phenomenology's Hons/Masters/PhDs/Postdocs Seminar series

Dear Colleagues,

Greetings.

 

We, AE Chimakonam and Werner Smith, recently launched a monthly online seminar series for Hons/Masters/PhDs/Postdocs, hosted by the Centre for African Phenomenology (CAP). The aim of the seminar series is to share our ongoing research on themes related, but not confined, to African Phenomenology, and receive constructive feedback from our peers. The benefits include:

1. Providing a platform to try out our ideas, whether we have a proposal defense, final defense, or conference presentation, and receive comments before launching them out (presentation benefit/confidence boost).

2. Getting to know each other's work, engaging with it, and citing it if working in the same area (citation benefit).

3. Collaborating with one another for publication purposes (collaboration benefit).
4. Networking with others working in a similar field.
5. If you're experiencing writer's block in your research and need a way to overcome it, this is a platform to share your challenges, and we will help you navigate through them.
