2nd Conference CFA

 

Our second conference will be taking place in Calabar, Nigeria 14-16 September 2026. The theme is Spiritual Realities, Meaning in Life and Human Flourishing in African Philosophy of Religion. Funding is available for participants selected through a CFA, and the deadline for extended abstract submission is 15 March 2025. Call for Papers

 

Following our first conference, a call for papers has been announced for a Special Issue of the Journal of the Philosophy and Religion Society of Thailand on the theme Philosophy, Spirituality, and the Meaning of Life. The editors are Soraj Hongladarom, JJ Joaquin and Hazel Biana and the deadline is 15 April 2026.

 

MA Scholarship in Jain Studies 26/27

 

After a successful first year, we are re-opening the call to offer a scholarship (up to 100% of fees) to support one candidate to undertake a MA by Research in Theology and Religion with a dissertation on Jainism. Call open until March 25th, more information here.

 

MA Stipends in Global Philosophy of Religion 26/27

 

Stipends of £2,000 for students on the Global Philosophy of Religion pathway of Birmingham’s MA in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics for 2026/2027 intake are now available.
