The African Institute of Epistemology & Philosophy of Science (ACEPS) (https://www.uj.ac.za/aceps), at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa invites application for the GES stipendiary philosophy postdoctoral fellowship (ZAR 250 000 per annum tax free) starting 1 January 2027 (or later depending on visas for international candidates), renewable for up to 2 years.
ACEPS's core areas of expertise are epistemic decolonisation, epistemic oppression, African epistemology, social epistemology, the political philosophy and epistemology of the internet/AI.
The Institute has 5 postdocs (2 international) (https://uj.ac.za/aceps/team), one of the biggest international network of Rеsearch Associates and visitors (see ACEPS website), as well great funded opportunities to present at local and international conferences.
The GES area of interest for ACEPS is the Epistemology of Climate Change (broadly construed).
