We are proud to announce the launch of the new PSSA website, which is live and can be found at the following link:

Please bookmark this website - it will be the primary channel for communication between the PSSA Exco and membership. You will be able to do the following via the website:

● Apply for membership

● Renew your membership

● View decisions taken at the previous AGM

● Submit an abstract for upcoming conferences

● Participate in PSSA governance

● See the latest news pertaining to the PSSA community

All currently registered members of the PSSA will receive an email in the next few days containing personal username and login details for the site to access its advanced functionality (i.e. PSSA governance).

The next PSSA conference is being hosted by UJ, and, pandemic restrictions permitting, will take place later in 2021. In the meantime, the terms of the following members of the AGM have come to an end: the PSSA President - Mpho Tshivhase, Secretary - Chad Harris, Treasurer - Luke Buckland, and SAJP Editor - Edwin Etieyibo, making it necessary to call for nominations to fill the following posts:

● Treasurer

● SAJP Editor

The term of two ordinary members, Mrs Dimpho Maponya and Mr Lungelo Mbatha, will continue on in the second term of their membership. You can make these nominations and vote in the new Exco members on the new website. In the coming months we will hold an online AGM in which these appointments will be confirmed by the membership.

This is a gentle reminder to please pay your membership fees for 2021 - details can all be found on the website. We need your membership fees in order to continue to advance the goals of the PSSA.
