UCT Philosophy: Call for Master's and PhD Scholarship Applications

The University of Cape Town's Department of Philosophy cordially invites applications for our 2026 master's and doctoral scholarships. 

We encourage applications from prospective postgraduates working in all areas of philosophy, provided the applicant's proposed project can be supervised by the department. 

Whilst the department predominantly works on analytic philosophy, the department also offers supevision on topics in classical phenomenology, existentialism, Frankfurt school critical theory and contemporary philosophy (Philosophy of AI).
