Dear colleagues,
For an upcoming issue of APA Studies on Philosophy and the Black Experience (link), I am seeking a contributor to write a (brief) note of honor commemorating the lives and intellectual legacies of the recently departed V. Y. Mudimbe and Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o. (Other formats are certainly conceivable, e.g. philosophical analyses of individual works or ideas.)
If you - or someone you know - would be interested and well-positioned to reflect on the philosophical contributions of these towering figures, please feel free to reach out.
Best,
Bjoern
