It is a bummer that HP has decided to stop supporting EAS. I know because I had Mimosa NearPoint and went through the same process last year. The good news is that I found a very good tool to extract all the NearPoint contents. Archive360 is a new company that has written a completely new migration tool that support Mimosa NearPoint and EAS. The tool extracts all the content directly from the archive with full fidelity and chain-of-custody and moves it to Exchange, Office 365 or PST. It is fast (1TB+ per day) and easy to use. Expensive professional services are not required. Archive360 installed the tool, trained me and then I ran the migration myself. I highly recommend Archive360 to anyone considering shutting down EAS and in need of migration. -Bob.
