Can we move the EAS Journal into Office 365?

We’re getting asked this a lot and as I understand it the answer is not yet concrete if you want to preserve and discover against your envelope data (BCCs and distribution list members).

Microsoft has only recently announced a framework for preserving envelope data in message headers - http://windowsitpro.com/blog/why-exchange-online-now-preserves-bcc-and-dl-information-message-headers and we’re working closely with Microsoft and TransVault to understand how to switch legacy journals into this new model.

For the latest developments in this space (if you’re based in the UK) check out the session Essential is running at Microsoft which includes the latest wisdom in this area.  http://www.migration-essentials.com/email-archive-migration-event.html or feel free to contact me.
