Matt, we support a lot of EAS customers and have developed a web based "client" that can browse, retrieve and Search IDOL in an EAS archive as well as maintain the folder structure.  Also works on Mobile & Mac etc.  It does require a move away from agressive "stubbing" in favour of managed mailbox retention, but comes with all the advantages of not having to support the client.  We also imbed the web based link into an Outlook folder so its easily available and designed for the Outlook browser.  So far it has been well received.  Let me know if you are interested or want more information.

famous Pogo quotation is "We have met the enemy and he is us."

The issue is that we will have a cloud based e-mail system and our users expect everything to just open when they click it. They love their Outlook and have been very 'difficult' when we suggest a browser-based approach. If you could get your browser-based application to take control whenever a user opens IPM.NOTE.EAS (for example), we might be able to generate some interest.

That being said, I would still like to get more information. Do you have a web site or technical PDF?

Hi Matt,

our ngArchive Client is able to retrieve Archived Messages even from existing EAS Environments and works with Outlook 2003 up to Outlook 2013 and we also have plugin for OWA

You are welcome to get more details. just drop me a note (mschroedl#schroedl-it.com - just replace the # with @) or visit our Website http://www.schroedl-it.com/ngarchive/ - it is also possible to buy and use only the Client without replacing the whole product
