EAS 6.9.5 has been released - EAS 7.0 is on the horizon :-)

The 6.9.5 release had an eDiscovery focus and features a brand new version of EAS Discovery - with a reworked GUI, enhanced installer, an evolved case workflow experience, advanced filtration for rapid culling of data, hit highlighting within text content and attachments - amongst a long list of improvements and additions that we have introduced. The EAS Scheduler has also been completely re-engineered and re-introduced - you can now schedule search tasks to ensure case matter is being transitioned into the review workflow on a dynamic basis.

 

The 6.9.5 release consists of EAS Discovery Client, EAS Discovery Web Service and EAS Discovery Scheduler - along with the updated EAS Indexer and EASIIS components. This release does not have a 6.9.5 version of the EAS Server core package - so to utilize EAS Discovery 6.9.5 you will need to use the latest EAS Indexer and EASIIS components but you can continue to use your EAS 6.8 or EAS 6.9 server core component.

 

Q1 of 2016 will see the most extensive EAS release ever - EAS 7.0 will bring with it a huge amount of feature add, with capabilities for Office 365 archival, IM and Social Media ingest from 25+ unique sources, support for SharePoint 2010 and 2013, support for Exchange 2016, Oracle 12c, Windows 10, a brand new EAS Web Access portal, a brand new EAS Supervisor Release and a host of updates and optimizations to the product as a whole... too many to list here.
