EAS Vs Exchange 2010/2013 archiving

I’m sure I am not alone when I ask the question but is
there a comparison chart of EAS vs Exchange 2010/2013 Archiving?
There are couple of options open to us regarding this matter
First off, I am going to draw up a functions matrix of common tasks we do in EAS i.e STORM manager searches etc and then find out if Exchange archiving can do this.
Has anyone else been through or going through the same process?
