Good Evening Zambezi Toastmasters!
Last week we once again had a FUN meeting. Chisha took us on our journey as Toastmaster of the Day and despite the President trying to delay starting the meeting to allow time for the VPE to arrive with the agenda, Chisha would have none of it. She created her own agenda, assigned roles to all members and started the meeting only 5 minutes behind schedule.
Saul gave his project seven speech from the CC manual and discussed the recent xenophobia attacks taking place in South Africa and recounted his very own time in 2008 when he was in South Africa and experienced the same first hand.
Next up was our Area Governor Jahon who gave us an entertaining speech from the advanced manuals. We are still waiting for him to break out in song though.
We continued on with Table Topics, evaluations and ending the meeting with the Area Governor presenting the President with a beautiful speech on earning his Advance Leader Bronze.
Our next meeting will be held on 14 May 2015. Please send your request to speak and to take up leadership roles to Chisha who has agreed to put the agenda together for this meeting as many members will be attending the District 74 Starcon conference in South Africa taking place 14-16 May 2015.
