Customer Centric Proposal Writing

-the First Three Golden Rules...

Abstract

The need

In the competitive market place with demanding customers, companies need to be more persuasive in their efforts to win new business.  Almost all new businesses need to be closed by writing proposals. However, the win rate of the proposals are not encouraging in many companies. With lot of hard work and after burning lots of mid night oils, project managers and sales teams are de motivated with this low win rate and that reflects on their future proposal efforts. Clearly, there is a strong need to understand the ‘secret sauce’ of writing winning proposals that persuade the clients to select your solution against many other competitions. That is the main intent of this talk.

The Golden Rules!

To write a proposal that gets the business requires plenty of preparation and tons of hard work. The most common mistake made by business proposal writers is a lack of understanding of the client’s business, industry and challenges. However, writing winning business proposals time and again is possible if we understand the nuances of writing client centered proposals. There are Seven Golden Rules on how to write a business proposal that’s worthy of your clients’ attention and win more business for your company, time and again. If you master these rules, it is guaranteed that you’ll consistently write winning proposals and bring more business. This talk focuses on the first three Golden Rules.
