I would like to know is it possible to receive Dstv in Europe?
I am leaving SA on a work contract to the Netherlands and wish to know
it I can take my decoder etc with, and still reveive Dstv.

Certainly not the Ku band transmissions - the footprint is very tightly
focused on Southern Africa. You may be able to get something on C band, but
that would require at least a 2.5m dish.
In all, I would not bother - local european sat tv is much better anyhow.
