Each student receives a new laptop computer with computer-based
training (CBT) software installed and a series of authorized study
guides for the training area selected. The materials incorporate
elements for the visual, the aural and the hands-on learner. Instead of
sitting in a classroom at a specified time, often distracted by other
concerns or frustrated with an educational method that doesn't meet
one's needs, the student decides when and where and how to learn. Just
open the laptop, launch the CBT software, and you're on your way to a
new career!
Flexible Support
Laptop Training Solutions prides itself on not only giving students a
flexible environment in which to learn, but also providing necessary
support. As with the training materials, the student can chose the
types of support needed. Every student has the opportunity to gain
hands-on experience in a fully-functional lab in a nearby learning
center. Structured, instructor-led study groups are available during
daytime, evening and weekend hours for co-operative learning. Here
students get a chance to discuss questions regarding the material, the
exams and practical applications. Help is also available through access
to on-line bulletin boards and via e-mail that is closely monitored and
quickly acknowledged.
