Need help finding online telephone directory for South Africa residential telephone numbers.

Does anyone know the web address of a good online telephone directory to
look up telephone numbers for people living in South Africa?

Does the local SA telephone company sponsor a site?

As far as I know Telkom is still only running its electronic directory on
Beltel which is far from compatible with the internet. (I have also heard
that Beltel is also not 2000 compliant, now that should be great fun with a
large number of companies using Beltel for electronic money transfers)

If you do have a few - and I mean only a few - enquiries feel free to e-mail
me and I will look them up on Beltel for you.

Go to http://www.telkom.co.za with that query. On Beltel (SA's Minitel)
it works and one can even get the address of a subscriber by typing '$'
before the number and vice versa - but nothing like that seems to exist
via the internet site yet. The more we nag, maybe .....
