The Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe escalated his 18-year reign of
oppression this week (19 Jan 1999) - his thugs began to arrest and torture
journalists. As the world outrage grows, let us not forget that there are
many in Mugabe's prisons, including whites, who have been enduring this
