Job Title: Corporate Strategy Senior Analyst
Description: To analyze various business problems and provide
strategic options available to address them with a primary focus on
the delivery of NewTel corporate strategy for both the Enterprise and
Consumer business units.
To contribute to organizational development and business excellence
through conceptualizing and leading various operational initiatives.

• Research and analyze relevant market, economic, industry,
regulatory, and technology dynamics and trends to assist in carrying
out appropriate analysis and strategy development
• Contribute to the development of the corporate strategy for NewTel
Enterprise, Consumer, and Wholesale business units
• Support business units in the implementation of strategy at the
business unit level by providing key strategic inputs to enable the
development of operational plans
• Support performance management team in the definition of KPIs
• Conduct strategy reviews with business units to assess the success
of strategy and adjust where needed
• Support business planning team with strategic inputs in the
development of planning tools and other analysis requiring strategy
insights
• Develop and lead initiatives for organizational development and
business excellence
• Strategic analysis of ad hoc business problems to support executive
decision making
• Participating in cross functional committees to acquire hands on
knowledge of key operational issues affecting strategy implementation
and opportunities for development
• Continuous assessment and refinement of competitive strategy based
on market dynamics
• The preparation of executive presentations and reports to support
decision making

Knowledge and Experience
• 5-8 years strategy experience in the Telecoms industry preferably
with reputable wire-line and wire-less operators or Tier 1 consultancy
firms
• Demonstrable knowledge of both fixed and mobile telecom dynamics
• Academic qualification in management (MBA) is preferable
• Exposure to various markets with regional experience preferable
• Startup experience is a plus
