Job Title: Senior Manager IS Internal Audit
Description: Direct independent reviews and evaluations on the
reliability and integrity of Information Systems (IS) inside the
company.
Compliance with policies, plans, standards, laws, and regulations
which could have significant impact upon IS Systems or operations.
Effectiveness in the accomplishment of objectives and goals of IS.
A measure taken by IS to safeguard assets, including tests of
existence and ownership as appropriate.
Involvement in System Development audits to ensure controls are built
in during the systems development life cycle (SDLC) process.
Expanding use computer-assisted audit techniques (CAAT) to support
audit projects.
Monitor the department's data processing requirements for micro-tools
including audit software and administrative package.
Analyses of SDLC methodology, providing for internal audit input at
key points in the process.
Involve in the Planning phase of the annual audit plan or specific
audit assignments.
Review assistant input and document thorough and complete approved
plan for specific audits after obtaining general guidelines from
Executive Director - Internal Audit.
Performance Evaluation: Complete timely performance evaluations for
assistant on audit and reviews evaluations with them (if applicable).
Qualification: Four Years College Degree in Accounting and/or other
studies related to audit will be an asset (CISA).
Experience: 8 to 10 years experience in the field of auditing IT
products and operations.Over all 10-15 years experience.
Skills: English language and good computer skills.
