Layout changes when using Ztree Unleashed

Hi,

I'm a beginner in using Ztree Unleashed and I bumped into the following problem/question:
When writing my code in Ztree, I always used 'full screen resolution' (1024x768). I also indicated this resolution when initializing zTu. However, when I follow the steps of the second video workshop posted on the Z-Tree unleashed website (i.e., starting a session), the layout of my experiment totally changes.

Should I expect problems when I run my session? Or is this simply because I'm running the experiment in my local VM?

Hi Elien,

Yes, you should expect issues. Working through the VM should only downscale the size of the virtual screen, but not reshuffle the design elements.

Increase the screen size until it looks right.

I'm still struggling a bit with the following: When I run my experiment using zTreeTestEnvironment, everything seems to work well. However, when I run my experiment in my own VM the part of the code that indicates the alignment (\qc or \ql ) doesn't seem to work anymore (as you can see in the screenshots added below). This often makes my experiment look messy.

Is there any way to solve this problem?
