those who are using cler_communicator?

Hi all,

I've finally gotten around to trying out cler_communicator in one of my z-tree Unleashed studies. My lab is really looking forward to being able to use this rather than a Zoom for greeting participants and answering any questions/troubleshooting problems! A few issues have come up while testing it out though and it'd be helpful to hear from anyone who uses it. 

First, is there a way that the chat box can function while the participant and/or the experimenter are in the waiting screen rather than the active screen? I've tried putting the container in the waiting screen but it just kind of sits in a frozen state, messages cannot be sent or received.

Second, any tips for a simple way of using cler_communicator in an already programmed public good experiment where one of the subjects now becomes the experimenter, where I don't want the experimenter to participate in the actual study? Having the experimenter bypass all active screens is causing problems because I cannot use cler_communicator when in the waiting stage. I'm stumped as to how I can use it when I don't want the experimenter to actually be a "leaf" in my ztree program.
