2138+43 SS CYGNI

As SS Cyg is slowly reaching its maximum, it is scheduled to be observed
with HST, EUVE, and RXTE satellites from June 7 through 21. We thank all
our observers who have been keeping a very close eye on SS Cyg and sending
in observations to AAVSO. Your observations made the scheduling of these
three satellites possible. This is the first time that HST, EUVE, and RXTE
are observing an outburst of SS Cyg simultaneously!

PLEASE CONTINUE SENDING IN YOUR OBSERVATIONS DAILY TO HEADQUARTERS THROUGH
JUNE 22 so that we can keep our colleagues at Lawrence Livermore National
Laboratory informed.

Below are 1-day means of the observations of SS Cyg which we have received
since May 25th. Please see the "Quick Look" file on the AAVSO web page if
you would like to view the complete data file. (http://www.aavso.org/ql/)
