Textpad auch für Mac?

hallo,

ich habe mir eine Trialversion von Textpad( ww.textpad.com ) auf meinen PC
geladen. Da ich aber mittlerweile mehr mit einem Mac arbeite, würde ich
gerne wissen, ob es ein vergleichbares Programm auch für den Mac gibt.
Textpad läuft meines Wissens ja nicht auf dem OS 9 bzw. OS X. Hat jemand
einen Rat?

welche Version ist denn zu empfehlen, 7.5?

BBEdit von BareBones sollte auch erwähnt werden. Etwas teurer als Alpha,
dafür mit Handbuch, antwortendem Support (bei Alpha weiß ich das nicht),
Grep und sehr gutem Suchen & Ersetzen über ganze Verzeichnisse.

Und dann waren da noch die kostenlosen Developer Tools von Apple selber.
Die sind bestimmt auch nicht schlecht -- hab mir den Editor wg.
Gewöhnung allerdings noch nicht angeschaut.
