Hallo !
In unserer Firma werden neue Laptops angeschafft.
Das Teil hat ne 10/100/1000 MBit interne Netzwerkarte.
Trotzdem wird für jedem Laptop zusätzlich eine PCMCIA-Nic
gekauft - mit der Begründung, daß nur so VLAN-IDs möglich sind.
Kann man wirklich unter Windows keine Eth.-Frames mit
VLAN-IDs senden/empfangen ?
Gibt es keine VLAN fähigen Treiber für Centrino-Laptops ?
Muß man dafür wirklich ne extra Karte kaufen ?

Wozu soll ein NIC im Client dot1Q unterstützen? Würde ich eher im Switch
erledigen.
