In a recent message to misc.transport.marine I asked for the general
acceptance of a new newsgroup
for marine insurance related topics before sending a RFD.
General support has shown that there is a need, however, the volume would
not (yet) justify an entirely new newsgroup. I want to thank all those
answering my request and letting me know their ideas.
One of these has been taken up and has led to the creation of a mailing
list.
This list is hosted on the servers of OneList. This is a free service with
the only disadvantage that every list message is headed by a short ad
inviting readers to view the sponsor's commercial offers.
I have set up this list for individuals and companies to discuss all marine
insurance matters.
Commercial use is encouraged where same relates to the marine insurance
field or related services. So please feel free to mail your company profiles
etc.
This list is not moderated. On special request where there is obvious fraud,
illegal action or similar activity by one or more subscribers I reserve the
right to exclude such subscriber(s) from the list.
