First, sorry for a question in English, my German is not good enough. I have
just flashed a Sagem dbox with the latest 1x image. when it rebooted, it
hangs, all I see is some data, and of course, the usual "kein system". I
can't connect with FTP because I now don't know the IP of the box. I can't
use IFA because the password is blocking it. Can anyone here please help?

I have 2 boxes the same, and the first one flashed OK, but the second
didn't. I'm new to flashing, but I think I did everything right. It flasehed
and said 'flash successful', so I removed the crossover cable while it
rebooted. Any more suggestions would be greafully received.

Allan, *have I fucked up*?

Just checked, and you're absolutely reght, my other box is 2x intel. In my
defence, the 2 boxes are identical, and not having enough knowlege, made the
wrong assumtion. So, can you help a poor Scotsman in trouble. The problem
is, I have no IP to transfer to by FTP. IFA is giving me an error. I've
tried 'power & arrow up' without success, any suggestions please.

Thank you Franz, but I already tried the tool, and it comes up with an
error. I'll keep trying, but in the meantime, again thanks for taking the
time to answer. I'll probably post again with an update.

Hello Allan,

have you already tried to flash it with the "DBox Bootmanager"?

Hallo Allan,

schau doch mal hier: http://www.dietmar-h.net/
Da gibt es Anleitungen auch auf Englisch.

http://tuxbox-forum.dreambox-fan.de/forum/ hat auch ein
englischsprachiges Forum.

http://www.tpdesign.de/flashen.html und
http://www.dbox2.info/faq.php?catid=2
helfen evtl. auch noch weiter.

Thank you very much for your help, the null modem cable helped a lot. I now
have a new image on the box, and everything is working.

Thank you Franz and Michael.
