> Who gains if posts are illegally cancelled on this newsgroup?
As usual ARS Bigots blame the
Chruch for everything they cant understand. Your posts were cancelled
by an internet hate group known as the CABAL, because they did not
follow the teachings of there sacred BI. The CABAL is a well-known hate
group that sympathizes with the ARSCC, and may even be affiliated with
them.

LOL! Stupid clam. There is no arscc! Or is there? :)
In August & September of 2003, multiple articles that I had
posted on Alt.Religion.Scientology were illegally cancelled. They were
articles that put the church of scientology in a negative light. Who
would have the most to lose by their being on the internet? Who would
have the most to gain by their being canceled?
Any person or organization that illegally cancels a person's
posts is suppressing that person's freedom of speech. In the United
States of America, suppressing somebody's freedom of speech is a
crime. The illegal cancellations emanated from the ISP "Mindspring",
which is in the USA, is part of the ISP "Earthlink". "Earthlink" is an
ISP that is heavily used by the church of scientology. A vast amount
of email addresses attached to over 21 Scientology Orgs are from
Earthlink. Here are a few of those email addresses as proof of that
connection:
1. New York: "cofsn...@earthlink.net"
2. Washington DC: "cof...@earthlink.net"
3. Atlanta: "cofsa...@earthlink.net"
4. Boston: "scientol...@earthlink.net"
5. Flagship Org in Clearwater: "flagser...@earthlink.net"
6. Columbus, Ohio: "cofsco...@earthlink.net"
7. Tampa, Florida: "cofsf...@earthlink.net"
8. Portland: "scientolo...@earthlink.net"
9. Chicago: "cofsil...@earthlink.net"
10. Phoenix: "cofsp...@earthlink.net"
11. Los Angeles Org: "hollywood...@earthlink.net"
12. Advanced Organization of Los Angeles: "ao...@earthlink.net"
13. American Saint Hill Organization: "as...@earthlink.net"
14. Church of Scientology of the Valley, Van Nuys:
"cofsv...@earthlink.net"
15. Santa Barbara: "cofssant...@earthlink.net"
16. Orange County, CA : "cofsoran...@earthlink.net"
17. Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre International:
ccinter...@earthlink.net"
18. Albuquerque, NM: "cofsalb...@earthlink.net"
19. Ann Arbor: "cofsbat...@earthlink.net"
20. Dallas: "cofscc...@earthlink.net"
21. Long Island: "cofslon...@earthlink.net"
Is it possible that the church of scientology could have members
working in Earthlink? Is it possible that some of the owners or
controlling management of Earthlink are scientologists? Is it also
possible that these same people could have been given orders by the
church of scientology to illegally cancel my posts?
Any organization that suppresses a person's freedom of speech is
a criminal organization. Could the reason why my posts put up after
September 2003 have not been cancelled be because I have shifted to a
more secure news server in Germany, a country that Scientology does
not have as much reach in? If I hadn't made that shift, you probably
wouldn't be reading this article also and wouldn't know the truth
about what has happened to me. Who would have the most to gain if this
article was illegally canceled also?

If any of the articles listed in this index cannot be found, it is probably because the
Church of Scientology has illegally canceled it in order to keep anybody from reading it.
Please wait for me to re-post it in the future.
Thank You.
As usual, ARS Bigots continue to
blame the Chruch and ignore true data. The CABAL is cancelling your
posts because you do not abide by their BI Dictum. Honor the CABAL and
its rules and they will stop.

Try spell checking your posts, troll.
As usual ARS Bigots try to suppress freedom
of speech when they dont like the truth. ARS bigots think they can stop
Chruch Members from thinking for themselves but they cant. The Tech
takes care of that.

Here it is again, troll. I've spell checked your post again. Sheesh! If
you're such an all powerful being, please use your "sooper powerz" to hit
the spell check button.

When will ARS bigots face
the facts about the Chruch? It is the world's fastest growing religion
and it always will be. ARS Bigots lies and distortion will never change
that.

How are ARS Bigots similar to
other bigots? In lots of ways.

Especially considering that there are primarily two kinds of cancellation
messages found on the $cientology newsgroups.
1: Spam cancellations for bulk stuff submitted to over 15 groups at the same
time. (The actual rule is a bit more complicated, but 15 is the "Briedbart
Index" for the stuff. Feel free to check it out.) This is a necessary rule
to prevent spammers from saturating all the newsgroups.
2: $cientology sponsored and forged cancellations of any material containing
significant amounts of their inner secrets. A lot of the history of this is
over an www.xenu.net, but the cult's cancellation of messages documenting
their inner secrets was first done officially by their attorney Helena
Kobrin (doubtless with some technical help).
A lot of the anti-$cientology people on the newsgroups got into it years ago
*because* of the cult's mishandling and abuse of newsgroups. The wild
spewing of over 3000 posts a night onto alt.religion.scientology by Jim Rego
and his assistants out in California, tying up 3 long-distance lines for 12
hours a night, led to California and other ISP's changing their policies
about accepting cash or money orders for new accounts because the
misbehavior then could not easily be traced to a real address. (An ISP
finally leaked Jim Rego's phone number from their dial-up logs, he was
identified, and the entire campaign stopped dead iin its track.)
The forged cancellations of other people's posts are what caused the
"NNTP-Posting-Host:" header to be added to every major NNTP server,
especially at netcom.com which faced a Usenet Death Penalty (having all
their posts dropped on the floor by other major ISP's) for allowing the
abuse to go on for so long. The history of message cancellation by the cult
aginst Dennis Erlich, Grady Ward, and dozens of other critics is a matter of
court record in the FACTnet lawsuits and the Dennis Erlich copyright
lawsuits.
Folks? This is either another $cientologist trying to "get their stats up"
for their weekly performance review by taking on the role of "Rick Sherwood"
and posting as a $cientologist, or it's a particularly dumb troll. Either
way, there's little to no factual content in the posts. The purpose of them
is to flood the newsgroups with confusing spew, not to enlighten anyone.
If you respond to them, actually include some interesting content. Make your
posts count for something.
[ Earthlink email addresses deleted. ]
Umm. This is not proof of funding sources. Lots of business get AOL. Netcom,
UUnet, or Earthlink accounts because they're some of the biggest providers
and it's convenient to have a dialup line wherever you go for your company.
Small ISP's can't offer that, and most of those have gone out of business
anyway.
Much more compelling for Earthlink is their president Sky Dayton's
graduation from the $cientology "Delphi Academy", their former and possibly
present chief sys-admin Brian Wanger's threatening of former $cientology
members with confidential materials from their confessional material (which
are *NEVER* confidential: they are always sent back to the main office and
often reviewed by OSA staff for internal performance and security reasons).
As Earthlink has grown, the staff I've met from there at trade shows say
they've moved away from the "Hubbard Tech" management style they had in the
early days, especially as they took over other ISP's.
Good for them as a company, and we haven't seen the $cientology cancellation
message campaigns from there, perhaps because $cientology doesn't *pay* for
Earthlink. Earthlink pays *them* through contributions and $cientology
training by its senior staff. But I'd still consider personal email sent
through them to be vulnerable to monitoring by key staff members.

Is it absolutely know? Of course it is! They had a VP $cientologist member
get busted for running a pyramid scheme. But frankly, they don't need to use
that. It's much safer, and easier, to pick up cheap or throwaway accounts
scattered around the country and use those instead. Usenet cancellation
messages are *trivial* to create. There's absolutely no reason to, and many
reasons not to, focus their efforts through Earthlink.

I'm afraid you're making a clear technical mistake here. Cancellation
messages do not have to be sent from the systems on which a message was
composed: they can be forged from anywhere. And if it were worth a few Euros
to the $cientologists to do the cancellations from an ISP in Germany, I'm
sure they would. What may help there is the Germans are *Germans*. They're
notorious for keeping good paperwork, and probably use much better
procedures for verifying the real address of ISP clients. This helps make
such abuses easier to track back to their source.
But believe me, friend, with all the root-kitted Windows machines being used
for spam and distributed-denial-of-service attacks, any vaguely competent
cracker could simply use another German machine at the same ISP to forge the
cancellations without their message.

Now, this part is vaguely useful. Much better than off-the-mark or
unprovable allegations.

Don't repost them too often! You want them to be available for newbies, but
not so frequent as to bore people with duplicates or so frequent as to be
classified as spam. (The threshold is the "Briedbart Index", "the sum of the
square roots of the number of crossposted groups for substantially posts
shall not exceed 15 in a 45-day period".) That leaves enough slack to be
able to post a once-a-week FAQ in a small number of groups, crossposted for
saving bandwidth, or a once-a-month FAQ for a larger number of relevant
groups.
