The Outpost CCG Youth Recreations, a nonprofit youth program in Kalispell, MT, in cooperation with Collector's Best, would like to announce a fund raiser of epic proportions! The Outpost promotes educational games and activities with the young adults of Kalispell and the surrounding area. And this fund raiser is no different!
There will be a constructed Tempest Block Booster Draft Tournament as well as a Silent Auction featuring a large number of very rare and out of print gaming cards from Magic: the Gathering, Star Trek, Star Wars, Pokemon and Young Jedi. This fundraiser promises to be one of the largest gaming events ever seen in NW Montana and is certainly *not* to be missed! Proceeds form this event will go to help support the youth program and help the organization in its goal to set up a youth center in Kalispell.
But to make this fund raiser work, we need your help! Specifically, we need donations of common, uncommon and rare Tempest, Stronghold and Exodus cards for use in the Constructed Booster Draft. These cards must be in mint/near mint condition. We have a significant contributor helping us already with the Silent Auction, but we need the cards to make the Booster Draft an equal success! Direct contributions of any other nature are also accepted. Please ask for any additional details on what we accept for contributions to our program.
The event will be held on Sunday, April 29th, 2001, so we need the donations by April 16th, to give us time to properly prepare for the event. Please respond to this email with any desire to contribute. Receipts will be supplied for tax purposes upon request. Contributions can be sent c/o Ron Glick, 4 5th Avenue East, Kalispell, MT 59901.
The event will be held at Collector's Best located at 234 2nd Street West in Kalispell, MT, for anyone wishing to attend. Doors and auction open at 10am and the tournament starts at noon. Tournament entry will be $10 with some very nice prizes for top players.
