Hi all,

As I am completely new to this I would like your opinions/advise on
the following:

- I'm looking for a good Midi Keyboard for use with programs like
Fruity Loops and ACID.
- In the first place I will use it for easy inputting of notes and
mapping faders/sliders
- I will be using it in combination with an Albatron px865pe Pro 2
motherboard that has on-board 24-bit/96KHz sound (based on
ICensembe/Envy24 soundchip, S/P DIF in/out, etc)

I've read that the major difference between the PCR-30 and PCR-A30
is that the latter has a 24/96 audio interface, AD/DA en additional
I/O connectivity.
As I am a Midi-newbee i have no idea what this really brings.

Could anyone of you explain me what this 'audio interface' actually
does and why I might need/want it (especially as I already have an
24/96 capability in my PC)

Please also tell me if I am talking complete nonsense ;-)

Cheers,

Louis
