Bentley Navigator V8 can increase the value of your engineering
and enterprise data by making it visible to all project
participants. It is an ideal tool for real-time, interactive,
intelligent 3D model review for the Plant and Building
industries. It provides features for visualizing and querying
both graphical and non-graphical information from many
industry-standard applications, including both MicroStation and
AutoCAD.

Bentley Navigator V8 represents the coming together of three
separate products into one new and powerful application.
Functionality from the Bentley Enterprise Navigator, the Bentley
Schedule Simulator, and the Bentley Dynamic Animator are now
combined to make the Bentley Navigator V8 one of the most
powerful Engineering Content review tools available.

Like the Bentley Enterprise Navigator, Bentley Navigator V8
provides all the standard controls to enable you to easily
navigate through your 3D model. In addition to these, Bentley
Navigator V8 provides you with a control that enables you to
"virtually" walk though the model in a fluid and continuous
motion, without having to change cursor modes.

When used in conjunction with Bentley's Engineering Content
Management solution, the Bentley Navigator V8 allows you to
provide authorized users with controlled access to review your
up-to-date models. The Bentley Navigator V8 enables you to check
in and check out models from ProjectWise as well as attach
reference files that may also exist in the secure ProjectWise
vaults. Also, the JSpace Class Editor has been updated to enable
you to check in and check out JSpace models and class libraries
from ProjectWise.

A new toolbar enables you to easily access several commonly used
File menu selections, such as open models, create new models,
save models, and print models.
