ywSynch 1.6.0 released

I've uploaded a new release of ywSynch.

This has a facility to synch the contents of yWriter's Export folder. This is the help text (under Options in the Documentation):

If you like to use yWriter's export and import facilities to edit or read your project you should tick this box. ywSynch will still carry out its usual synch operations but will, in addition, also synch the contents of yWriter's Export folder with the remote project. This synch operation is quite simple. Any files it finds at either end that aren't at the other end will be copied across. If it finds files at both ends that have different Last Modified DateTimes it copies the newer one to the other end, overwriting the older version. Any that have the same DateTime are left unchanged. As it copies it carries out the conversions specified by the Remote Format field, e.g. changing a remote file with a doc extension to rtf as it copies it to the yWriter project.

It fixes the problem with trying to browse for swriter.exe when nothing has yet been entered in the swriter path box.
It also refuses to open a project that has not yet had a title set (as this is what is used to name the remote folder).

Top job, it's sorted the issue I had with the swriter.exe path box! Thanks!

I do have a question. I've got it set up and syncing to my remote device just fine. I edited one scene on my device but nothing I did to yWSynch on my computer made it change the Action prompt from Do Nothing with the State still showing At Both. I had to manually change the Action to Copy to Project and it worked as expected. But I thought it picked up the change automatically - is that correct?

I just moved house yesterday, and it's going to be a while before I can
get my development PC set up (my new home office is currently completely
full of boxes) so I can't check the code and run any tests at the
moment.

Are you using a Dropbox to synch through?

It just occurred to me that if you edited it on the device, and then
synched before the PC had downloaded the update back to its Dropbox, it
would see them as the same at both ends. The next time it synched, both
files would show a last modified time of before the last synch, in which
case it would assume they were both unchanged. I'm not certain that is
the exact logic used in the program, because I can't check it at the
moment, but I have a feeling this may be what happened. If so, I will
need to look a bit more closely at how I am handling date/times and
maybe even construct and check a hash of each remote file.
