I am on WIndows 11 using 7.1.6.5 on a laptop with 133% scaling. The GUI font I set to 12 pt and everything scaled. But the list fonts stay small and to the upper left corner of the field. I found no way to change it, it is probably MS Mincho because this is a Japanese Windows with GUI language set to English. My old eye would like to have it at least 12 pt like the rest. Or maybe the 133% scaling is the issue?
Otherwise, the 716.5 beta is a big improvement, searching works again as it should and I had fewer accidental insert mode issues too, but I have only tested it for a day so far.
Thank you

I would try changing the UI font if you can - maybe Segoe UI?  I think that font is displaying in Superscript somehow.

Sorry, how to do that? I did not find a setting in yWriter.
Or do you mean inside windows? I have no idea where to set this either. I think this is something that windows resets whenever changing the language pack. Since my wife uses the laptop in Japanese, I cannot do the registry hack or the Japanese GUI is broken. Setting Windows GUI language to German did not change the appearance, that I can confirm.

You're right, I used to have an option to change the UI font, but now it uses the standard desktop one. Strange that it's only in the listviews though, almost like the font is reporting itself taller than it really is.

Not sure if this info helps but I have played around with the text size settings from Windows 11, but both just scaled everything proportionally (as they should).

You can email me the log file directly (off-list) if you like.

I can also change the Alpha so it shows which font is currently in use, and I can probably put back the font-picker so you can manually override it in the app.

Uploaded a new alpha with the UI font selection menu visible again.

Thank you, I tried it. However, the list font did not change, only the UI font. I noted that the scene list had the correct display on beta and alpha. Here a screenshot with Times new roman, showing that the list views in scene and chapter do not change their appearance. (And also the headers as well.)

Thanks, that gives me something to work with. Let me check.

I can't upload a new version at the moment as my server hosting company has been fighting a DDos attack all day.  But I've made some changes to the alpha and will upload it when I can.

The font definitely changes on the list view on my system.
