Formatting for the quick descriptions is lost or not present

When you make a character or item, for instance. All text within the "description", shows in the quick info box below, when selecting each item, for inspection.

The formatting seems to be stripping entire "end of line" (CRLF) characters. This results in the description becoming a singular paragraph that doesn't even have a space after any periods, when the last line ends in a period.

For example... This text...

"This is my character description.

She is outgoing, fun and dresses like a hobo.

Her hometown was  destroyed by mice."

That description displays as this...

"This is my character description.She is outgoing, fun and dresses like a hobo.Her hometown was  destroyed by mice."

Is there any way to restore or retain the formatting, so it looks like the prior text in the quick-info display? It is really hard to read when it alters the formatting like that.
