Using version 5.6.1.9 – updated few days ago. Have some strange bug – every time I close and save scene „Times New Roman Baltic;“ is added to the beginning of the scene. It also add „Times New Roman Baltic;“  every time to all my scenes when I close yWriter5. It is quite easy way how to fulfill every days 1000- word target but I’m afraid that my editor will not be satisfied. :) Help please.

That's annoying, but I believe I know the reason. The last time this bug cropped up it was a special control word in the RTF file that wasn't being picked up.

If you can send me one of the rtf files before it has the Times New Roman Baltic in it, I should be able to find the cause.

Second thing I need to ask is - can you install yWriter 6 or 7 on your machine? (Preferably 7).  And if so, does it show the same issue?

Hi Simon!

yWriter7 works well. I really apreciate your work and definitely will register this newer yWriter7. I'm writing my 6th novel using yWriter, thank you!

Excellent, glad it worked.

yWriter 5, 6 and 7 are all identical, they're just compiled for different versions of Windows.

Because yWriter5 uses a really old rich text editor, harking back to Windows XP days, it's not as compatible with new RTF files.

yWriter6 uses the Vista control, while yWriter7 uses the Windows 7 version.
