A celebration of the Two Kingdoms youth project
Date: 17 December 2009
Time: 6pm – 8pm
Location: The Living Room, City Hall, Queen's Walk, More London, SE1 2AA
Dear colleague
You are warmly invited to a Two Kingdoms Youth Forum reception to celebrate and showcase the first year of this groundbreaking project.
Over the last year young women and men from Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom have been working together on intercultural dialogue and community participation projects. Through these projects young people have been building trust, understanding and collaboration between the two Kingdoms and we are delighted at the enduring ties it has helped forge between young people and organisations in the UK and Saudi Arabia.
At the reception young participants will share their experiences from the project and showcase some of their work. There will also be presentations from Saudi and UK partner organisations and performances from Saudi artists.
The reception will also mark the launch of the ‘Our Everyday Lives’ exhibition of photographs and short films documenting the lives of young people across the UK and Saudi Arabia.
Drinks and food will be served.
It should be a wonderful and inspiring evening and we very much hope you are able to attend.
Please RSVP at http://2kyforum.eventbrite.com or reply to this email.
