Subject: YWG meeting on 27th November - please confirm attendance ASAP

Dear all

I am writing with two things:

  1. To invite you to a DFID-CSO Youth Working Group (YWG) meeting on 27th November 2-5pm (see below) where amongst other things, we will ask organisations to nominate themselves to sit on the Steering Committee (please email me if you’re interested or want more information on what this entails – we will also cover in the meeting)
  2. We are recruiting young people to sit on the Steering Committee also – please see attached for the advert and specific process for this and please pass to young people involved in your organisation

Meeting on 27th November

As you know representatives of the YWG recently met with PUSS Mike Foster following a very successful meeting with at DFID’s offices on 16 September to discuss working together on implementation of the White Paper (where over 20 DFID staff attended!)

This wider group meeting therefore comes at a critical time and it would be great to see as many of you there as possible.

Please confirm your attendance with me ASAP and by Friday 20th November at the latest.
