Drage sestre i braćo,

Nakon malo dužeg izbivanja vam se javljam i prvo da pitam kako ste?

Nadam se da ste svi dobro, da su i vaši ukućani zdravi i veseli.
Konačno nam je došlo ljepše vrijeme i duži dani.

Kad je vani sunčano, čovjek se odmah bolje osjeća, zar ne?

Nije me bilo malo duže jer sam imao smrtni slučaj u obitelji, pa mi je trebalo malo vremena da "dođem k sebi" a i bio sam angažiran

oko tog tužnog događaja...

Nadam se da ste prevodili planove, koliko znam, nitko nije imao nikakvih pitanja, pa vjerujem da odvajate vremena koliko možete i prevodite planove.

Nives i ja smo na 70. stringu plana "Parenting by design", čeka nas još dosta posla, ali - nema predaje!  :-)

A sad nešto o ovom mailu ispod...

Prosljeđujem vam mail od Lise Gray i predlažem da se prijavite na webinar na linku iz tog maila. Ja nisam još, ali ću svakako odgledati taj webinar, ne znam još u kojem terminu.

Koliko vidim radi se o novostima u Smartlingu, što i nam trebalo olakšati prevođenje.

Vidio sam da su se neki Team Leaderi malo požalili da je komplicirano, ali mislim da je to tako sa svakom "novotarijom" koja se uvodi u neki sustav.

Čini mi se da ćemo trebati uložiti malo truda da shvatimo kako su to u Smartlingu zamislili, a kao što vidite, možemo postavljati i pitanja.

Ako ćete imati kakvih pitanja vezano za taj webinar i taj CAT tool (nakon odgledanog webinara), slobodno pošaljite ili direktno Lisi ili meni, kako god vam je zgodnije.

Hvala vam za svaku prevedenu riječ i svaki prevedeni string.

Hvala vam svima što ste odlučili na taj način pomoći da Božja Riječ dopre do čim više naših sunarodnjaka.

You may have seen some of the announcements from Smartling (by email and in the dashboard) that they are launching an updated version of their CAT tool. CAT stands for Computer Assisted Translation and refers to translation industry software tools that help professional translators do their work most efficiently. We have typically referred to this as Smartling’s “Translation Interface”, however their aim is to offer all the industry-standard CAT tools found in offline software program in their cloud-based tool.

 

I am finding out from our account rep when exactly our account will be updated to the new CAT tool, however I think it would be a good idea for as many of you as possible to attend a webinar to learn about the new tool, so that you’ll be able to help your team with the transition. Please feel free to forward this info on to your team so that they can attend a webinar themselves if they would like.
