Dear Friends,

A Zonal Youth mass was organised at the Church of St. Teresa of Child Jesus (Pushp Vihar) today, 12 June 2011. Fr. Chetan Machado celebrated the Holy Eucharist. The day had a gathering of Sixty youth from Hauz Khas, Sangam Vihar, Aya Nagar, Pushp Vihar, and Vasant Vihar parish. Mr. K.C. Cherian enlighted the gathering by providing an brief insight on "Christian Leadership". Thereafter Ms. Ashita Pinto (Diocesan Youth President), Mr. Ashish Alex (Diocesan Youth Vice-President) and Fr. Chetan officiated the Zonal Council Elections.

I am very pleased to announce the South Zone-2 council for year 2011-12, they are:

Zonal President : Mr. Kumud Baxla (from Pushp Vihar)

Zonal Vice-President: Ms. Venefreta Dass (from Vasant Vihar)

Zonal Secretary: Mr. Samio Ekka (from Aya Nagar)

Zonal Jt. Secretary: Ms. Pratibha (from Pushp Vihar)

Zonal Treasurer: Mr. Jay Sen (from Hauz Khas)

Zonal Representatives: Ms. Jessica (Hauz Khas) and Mr. Sijit Thomas (Vasant Vihar)
