NYC Cross Introduction and Prayer

Dear Friends,

 

You may be already aware that the next National Youth Convention will be held in our region. The Northern Region (Delhi, Jalandhar, Shimla, and Jammu Dioceses) will host this mega event in the city of Jalandhar in 2013. To pray for the success of this convention and also to spread the awareness about it, YUVODAYA (ICYM Delhi) is organizing a ‘Journey of the Convention Cross’. This cross with travel through all the parishes of our Archdiocese and then we will hand it over to next diocese in our region.

 

Journey of the Convention Cross in our Archdiocese has began from our zone on Sunday 19th June from St. Dominic’s Church, Vasant Vihar. The journey plan is as follows:

Aya Nagar	St. John the Baptist Church	03 July
Sangam Vihar	Church of Mary Queen of Apostles	10 July
Pushp Vihar	Church of St. Teresa of Child Jesus	17 July
R.K. Puram	St. Thomas Church	24 July
Hauz Khas	Good Shepherd Church	31 July

 

During the journey ‘Convention Cross’ will remain in a parish for a week. During the week the parish youth group and other association members can take this cross to their homes or wards for personal or group veneration of the cross.
