Dear YuvaTelanganites...
From the last two years, TeNA has been participating in the worlds largest India day parade organized in Newyork city every year on the occasion of Indian independence day. We have been showcasing the Telangana identity and culture in front of thousands of NRIs by proudly holding the banners and pictures of Telangana monuments, icons, Bathukammas and Bonalu. We received huge response from the crowd when we were marching through the streets of NYC by raising the slogans of "Jai Telangana" . Those were some memorable moments for all the TNRIs who participated in the parade.
As you all know, this year is a very special year for all of us as we have achieved our dream state of Telangana. On this occasion, we have decided to put a "Telangana Float" in the India day parade on Aug 17th, 2014 in New york city, NY.
We are planing to make grand decorations and set up on the float to represent every aspect of Telangana state. TeNA board and teams from Boston, NJ, Philadelphia and DC are actively working on organizing this float.
We request all the Telangana NRIs to join us in this grand event and proudly represent the newly formed 29th state, Telangana. Please block your dates and start planing your trip.
