తెలంగాణా వాదులకు విజ్ఞప్తి
ఈ నెల 5 న పార్లమెంటులో బి.జే.పి. సీనియర్ లీడర్ శ్రీమతి సుష్మాస్వరాజ్ తెలంగాణా యెడ చేసిన ప్రసంగం తెలంగాణా ప్రజానీకాన్ని ఉత్తేజపరిచింది. ఆమె వ్యక్తీకరించిన భావజాలంలోని తపన, బాధ, చిత్తశుద్దితో కూడిన ఉద్వేగపూరిత ప్రసంగం ప్రశంసనీయం. ఇకముందు తెలంగాణా కొరకు ఆత్మహత్యలు కొనసాగితే తన మద్దతు ఉండదనే ఆమె ఆవేదనను అర్ధం చేసుకోవాలి. మన లక్ష్యాన్ని బ్రతికుండి సాధించుకోవాలి కానీ, ఆత్మాహుతులకు పాల్పడవద్దని తెలంగాణా యువతకు విజ్ఞప్తి చేయడం, ఆ దిశలో చైతన్యపరుచడం మనందరి విధ్యుక్తధర్మం. ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ "తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్రాన్ని" సాధించుకొని తీరుతాం. కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం చేసిన బాసలు వమ్ముజేస్తే భూస్థాపితంగాక తప్పదు. తెలంగాణా చావుకేకలతో కాంగ్రెస్ పాలకుల పతనం ఖాయం. తెలంగాణాలో బి.జే.పి. బలాన్ని పుంజుకోక తప్పదు. ఏనాటికైనా కేంధ్రంలో బి.జే.పి./ ఎన్.డి.ఏ. ప్రభుత్వం వస్తుంది, తెలంగాణా ఇస్తుంది. తెలంగాణా ఫలాలు అనుభవించడానికి యువత బ్రతుకాలి.

Lok Sabha: Sushma Swaraj, Telangana demand on 5th August, 2011
Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj made an emotional appeal to the people of Telangana, particularly the youth, asking them not to commit suicide to press for statehood saying she would withdraw herself from the movement if they took the extreme step.
"I plead with people of Telangana particularly the youth, my brothers and sisters of Telangana. Don't die for the creation of Telangana. Live to see the day when Telangana is created. Now onwards if there is a single suicide for creation of Telangana, I will withdraw myself Telangana movement.I beg of you please do not damage the Telangana cause by committing suicides," Swaraj said on the microblogging community site twitter today. The BJP leader had raised the issue in a big way in the Lok Sabha two days agoback.
Swaraj, who is the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, had moved a calling Attention Motion in the House on Friday (5th August, 2011) that saw a heated debate over the issue.
