More Details:
Last year we had a Yuva for Sewa Fellow Shobhit Mathur successfully
participate in a project in Surname in the Carribean. He volunteered for a
month and half in Suriname
conducting IT and other computer related classes.
This year we are excited to present the extended version of this program. Besides Caribbean countries and USA, we have successfully added 20 projects in India. Our Indian Team has worked very hard to come up with these projects that will enrich volunteers' lives as well as extensive orientation program and infrastructure to make their experience memorable.
The projects range in various category: Education, Health Care, Women
Empowerment, Slum Development, Vocational Training, Tribal Development etc. The
orientation will be provided by seasoned Social Workers who have been working
in the field for several years.
The projects are designed to build leadership and team work, empower
visionaries and provide experience in helping community. It is opportunity to
put Swami Vivekananda's vision of Sewa into action.
