Hi,

If you are anything like me, you may still be finalizing your summer vacation plans. Sooo ... to help you out a bit, this upcoming Wednesday the 25th, we are organizing a small seminar on Sewa International (SI).

As you may know from previous e-mails, SI is organizing 'Yuva for Sewa', where you get the opportunity to volunteer and work during summer with communities in either India, Carribien or USA. This seminar will give you more details about 'Yuva for Sewa', in addition to providing a bird's eye view of the Sewa International work. The seminar will be led by Shyam Parande Ji, who is visiting from India and has the responsibility of International Coordinator of SI.

The 'Prerana Varg' about Sewa International will be held at the following location. As usual we will start on time :)

7:00 - 9:00 PM
The Theater of the Children's Aid Society
219 Sullivan Street NY, NY 10012

Use Google Maps to find the nearest subway to the place.

Sewa International (SI) is a worldwide service organization, inspired by Hindu ethos, working in over 15 countries. There motto is 'Nar Sewa is the Narayan Sewa', meaning serving humanity is serving god. By current estimates, SI is running 80 types of activities, 45,000 projects with the help of 150,000 volunteers.

I know this is a extremely short notice, but I hope you will make it.

Let me/Gauri/Rudra know if you have any questions or concerns.

Hey,

If anyone is looking to get involved in some Sewa (Volunteer) projects, then we're organizing a program this Wednesday evening to provide more information.  I know this is short notice, but if your free, then try to attend.  One of the focuses will be projects that you can get involved with during the summer.  The location for the presentation will be in the building where we normally have Shakha, but it will be in the theater of the building.
